Bill was united in marriage to the love of his life Lillie (Bailey) on January 20, 1962. Together they celebrated 60 years of marriage. They have four children. He worked for General Motors for 42 years as a skills trades man. You could always find Bill either out in his shed woodworking, cutting down trees, camping, kayaking, or riding his tractor. Bill enjoyed volunteering for things and for many years loved helping at St. Paul Lutherans fish fries. Bill also had a special knack for helping all his grandkids with all their homework. He would even go sit in their classes to stay up on what they were learning. If you ask the grandkids he was best known for his amazing egg McMuffins known to be better than McDonalds.
