Benjamin (Ben) Mays

Benjamin (Ben) Mays of Imlay City, MI formerly of Millington, MI passed away Friday July 2, 2021, at the age of 36.

Benjamin was the son of Kimberly & Fred Mays and was born in Saginaw, MI on March 19, 1985. He attended Millington High School. Ben met the love of his life Michelle Muzillo and on August 6, 2011, they were married. Together they had two children Dylan and Kamryn who Ben loved more than anything in the world. Ben worked at the GM Warren Tech Center as a Journeyman for 10 years. He loved his job and took much pride in his work. Ben loved all things outdoors from camping to riding quads, shooting, and collecting guns. He loved sports but especially loved U of M sports. Ben put his love for sports to good use and coached both of his kid’s teams. He had many hobbies but especially loved, vacationing, watching the food channel as well as the Impractical Jokers, all spicy foods and so much more. Ben will forever be remembered for his witty sense of humor, his good jokes, his loyalty to all his family and friends but most importantly for his never-ending love he gave Michelle and his children.

Ben is forever loved by his wife, Michelle. Two children; Dylan and Kamryn Mays. Parents; Fred and Kimberly Mays, father-in-law Mike Muzillo (Marilyn) and mother-in-law Sue Muzillo. His sisters; Sarah Mays, and Emile (Bre) Noyes, his sister-in-law’s Pamela (Mitch) Ohren and Kimberly Muzillo and his Grandma Carolyn Laplow. As well as nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and many friends.

The family would like to invite friends to Hanlin Funeral Home on Thursday, July 8, 2021, from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral will be Friday, July 9, 2021, at Hanlin Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with a time of visiting before starting at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers you can make a memorial contribution to a charity of your choice or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
