Diane (Lewis) Smeaton

Diane Smeaton passed away early on September 23, 2019. She was 68.

Diane was born May 17, 1951 to Gene and Monica Lewis. Diane graduated from Millington High School. After high school she became a real estate agent for many years. Diane had 2 sons Matthew and Derek.

Diane leaves behind to cherish in her memory husband: Robert Smeaton. Her two sons and granchildren; Matthew (Daphane) Lewis, children: Angelica, Elisha, and Matthew II. Derek (Melissa) Upleger and children: Alex, Jasmine, Robert, Colton, Zabel and Monica. Diane also leaves extended children: Dawn, Robert, Chad, and Deeana. She also leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her brothers and sisters; Denise (Rick) Sherman, Debra Hazel, Mark (Marie) Lewis, Brad (Maria) Lewis, and Dana (Rick) Webster. Diane leaves many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.

Besides her parents Diane is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Richard (Dick) Hazel.

The family has honored Diane’s wishes and cremation has taken place. The family would like to invite family and friends to a memorial gathering at Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI on Thursday October 3, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00pm with a service starting at 7:00pm. Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the family
