Obituary

Mr. Fredrick (Fred) Hiram Graunstadt of Millington, MI passed away Saturday April 23, 2022, at the age of 86.

Fred was born in Pontiac, Michigan on May 31, 1935, and was the son of Hiram and Mable (Selby) Graunstadt, Fred and Linda were married on May 19, 2006, on and together they have celebrated 15 years of marriage and have a lot of wonderful memories. Fred spent a lot of years living in the Upper Peninsula and owned and operated his business “Craft Sheet Metal”.

Fred leaves to cherish his memory his wife Linda, daughter: Lisa (Eric) Oleson, stepson Allen Campbell, and stepdaughter Bonnie Knoppe. He also leaves 7 grandchildren: Aaron, Naomi, Esther, Lydia, Ruth, Kyle, Juliana, and Robin, and 3-greatgrandchildren, Fred leaves two brothers Leonard, and Earl Graunstadt. Besides his parents Fred is preceded in death by a son Ross Hiram Graunstadt.

Friends are welcome at Hanlin Funeral Home (4823 Main St. Millington, MI 48746) on Thursday April 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Funeral services for Fred will also be on Thursday at Hanlin Funeral Home and will begin at 12:00 pm. Following the services, the family will honor Fred’s request and cremation will take place.
