Mark Evans

Mark Evans, a life-long resident of Millington, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, in the care of family. He was 71.

Mark was born in Flint, MI, on June 1, 1949, to Robert and Georgia Evans. He was raised in Millington alongside his five brothers, and graduated from Millington High School. Afterwards, Mark continued to live in Millington and led a career as an accomplished welder, retiring from Louden Steel.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two children, Jeffery Evans and Jody Silkey; his father, Robert Evans; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two brothers, Robin (Denise) Evans, and Patrick Ferris.

Mark is preceded in death by his mother, Georgia; and three brothers: Larry Evans, Steven Evans, and Ron Jerome.

Private arrangements have been entrusted to Hanlin Funeral Home.
