Richard (Dick) Lindow

January 23, 1947 — June 25, 2020

Mr. Richard (Dick) Lindow of Millington passed away early Thursday morning June 25, 2020, at the age of 73.

Richard was born January 23, 1947, in Saginaw, Michigan and was the son of the late Charles and Anna (Bighan) Lindow. After graduating from Frankenmuth High School, Richard served our country during the Vietnam War in the US-Army. After returning home, Richard went back to work for Eaton/Grede Foundry in Vassar, MI. He retired in 2009 after 43 years of employment. On June 30, 1979 Richard married Miss Corinne Titsworth, and this June they would have celebrated 41 years of marriage. As a teenager, he worked at the Bavarian Inn with his brothers. He was best known for his sense of humor and joking spirit.  His many hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing softball, taking photos at Millington Football games, camping, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Richard is survived by his wife Corinne.  Richard also leaves his three children: Jodi Hubbard, Scott (Karyn) Lindow, Rich (Sharon) Lindow, four grandsons, and one great-grandson. Richard leaves also; two brothers; Charles (Darlene) Lindow, and Donald Lindow, a sister Kathleen (Ryan) Jaynes, many nieces, nephews, and extended family.  Besides his parents, Richard is also preceded in death by; two brothers, Jack and James Lindow, and a sister Anna Schuster.

The Lindow family has honored Richards request and a private family service has taken place followed by cremation.  A public memorial will be held at a later date.  Memorial gifts of remembrance can be directed to the Millington Athletic Association.  PO Box 4 Millington, MI 48746. Hanlin Funeral Home in Millington, MI has been assisting the Lindow family with arrangements.
