Ullery Allen

Ullery Dale Allen Age 85 Passed away November 24th 2021 at Genesys Hospital from Covid.

He was born September 29th 1936 at home in Vassar, Mi. He was the son of Ethel E. Allen (Laur) and William James Allen of Vassar. Who preceded him in death.

He graduated from Vassar High School in 1955. After graduation he volunteered for the draft. He was in the U.S. Army, 36th armored Infantry Division. He was a Infantry rifleman and was stationed in Germany until 1957.

Ullery worked for MDOT for more then 30 years. He was also a Farmer in Millington on both of his properties which he truly proud of.

Ullery enjoyed Polka dancing in his earlier years. He enjoyed getting together with his friends to play euchre weekly.

He was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Otisville, Mi. Where he enjoyed the fellowship and listening to and singing the church hymns.

Ullery is survived by his brother Orlin G. Allen of Romeo, Mi. He was preceded in death by his sister Edith L. Ducolon (Allen) from Reese Mi., sister Wilma L. Reamy (Allen) from Millington, Mi. brother Robert Laur Allen from Elmer Mi., brother Earl Lynn Allen From Vassar, Mi., brother Cleo D. Allen from Las Vegas, Nevada. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a loving brother, uncle and Friend to many. He will be greatly missed.

Funeral will be at the Emmanuel Baptist Church December 6th at 11:00am. There will be a luncheon directly following the service at the church.
