Walter Allison Jr.

Walter V. Allison Jr. passed away on February 25, 2020. He was 91 years old.

Walter V. Allison Jr. was the son of the late Walter V. Allison Sr. and Grace Allison.  Walter was born November 29, 1928.  He graduated Baldwin High School in 1946. On May 20, 1950, Walter married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Spence.  They would have celebrated their 70th anniversary in May of 2020.  Walter worked 42 years, for the Detroit Edison Company; retired in 1990.

Walter will be forever loved by his family.  Walter is survived by his wife Barbara Allison and their four children: Walter V. Allison III (Dolores), Dr. Mark Allison (Charlene), Cheryl Clemens (Michael), and Scott Allison (Mary); as well as 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-granddaughter.

An invitation is extended to family and friends to visit at Hanlin Funeral Home on Friday, February 28, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  The funeral service will be on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Hanlin Funeral Home at 2:00 pm with visitation at 1:00 pm.  Gifts of remembrance may be gifted to Caro First Presbyterian, Vassar Rotary, Millington Community Center, or Grace Hospice.
